Sankalp Education Society ‘Sankalp’ (meaning resolve in English) is an NGO from Nagpur. It has been founded by a group of like-minded people who believe in ensuring equal career and livelihood opportunities for the youth of underprivileged sections of society. The mission of Sankalp is to provide high-quality, yet affordable skills to all. We aim at bringing the most valued and relevant employability enhancement programs within the grasp of youth belonging to educationally and socially unrepresented communities. We wish to train our youth to rise up to the contemporary challenges presented by the changing socio-economic face of the world. Within 15 years of its inception the NGO has reached to more than 3000 thousand students.

Our Vision: Educationally empowered students from socially and economically backward communities and areas, contributing for development of India.
Our Mission: Providing technical and professional knowledge to the children and youth of socially and economically underprivileged sections of the society. Also make them capable to effectively compete for employment and self-enterprises with spirit of secular and responsible citizen.
Our Story
• To imbibe the qualities of liberty, equality, fraternity, and justice among the participating students.
• To provide quality technical education based on market requirement to the Students of socially and economically marginalized sections of society.
• To help them in getting livelihood by placing them in various institutions.
• To help them in setting their own enterprises by providing financial support through various govt. schemes.
• To enable them for addressing their community based needs by forming citizen collectives such as Youth Groups and Women Groups.
• To prepare Citizen Leaders for addressing community based issues.
• To develop their capacities through capacity building trainings.
• To influence the governance for getting better services.
• To develop network of volunteers NGOs and Govt. machinery for preventing caste and gender atrocities.
• To provide foot holding resources to students and organizations who are in need of material or non-material support.
• To understand the market man power/service needs and design the courses/trainings accordingly for youth.
• To be resource centre for information seekers, counselling and training.
• To establish partnership with such organization those work on the similar issues or issues that are decisive for the success of our approaches and encourage sharing of leanings and resources.
